Q. I have acid/gastric reflux and I need a pillow to help ease this condition?

A. Our pillows are designed to keep the head and neck aligned with the spine. In other words not to have the head tilted downwards. This will assist your condition, but not necessarily alleviate it. Please see our Pillow Selector to help guide you to an appropriate pillow in our range.

Q. Have you a product that raises my upper body and which subsequently alleviates acid/gastric reflux, and is advantageous for heart conditions, hiatus hernia, and breathing disorders?

A. We do. It’s called the Contoured Bed Wedge, and it is designed specifically for these conditions. It angles the upper body some 10 to 15 degrees.

You may not like the idea of sleeping on an angle, but it is very comfortable on our wedge as it is wide and slightly contoured so you don’t roll out during sleep.

The pillow you would use on the wedge would be a very, very low one because you will be at your most comfortable in the back-sleeping position, and such a position doesn’t require a high pillow.

Please also note that the Contoured Bed Wedge can also be lowered by removing the insert within the product. This will take you down to an angle of minus 10 degrees.

Q. I have a general circulation problem. Have you any comfort products which can help?

A. We have designed a number of products specifically to enhance blood flow, and the two which have exceptional benefits are Legs Up and the Leg Relaxer.

Legs Up is designed to get your legs up, without pressure, while you are seated in your lounge chair, while Leg Relaxer is designed to get your legs up while resting in bed.

Both products offer superb comfort and feature contours which follow the form of your legs.

Q. Do you make mattress or mattress overlays that help diffuse pressure to the body and therefore help circulation?

A. Yes, we do.
Body Huggar in a convoluted (eggcrate) foam is a fantastic product that spreads the pressure during sleep. No 'hard spots'! It also features a lumbar column which supports the lumbar and waist cavity during sleep, and as such encourages the natural curvature of the spine during sleep.

A more expensive alternative to Body Huggar is the Memory Mattress Topper ("feeling is believing") which does much the same thing as Body Huggar but which has a different 'feel' to the body.

Both these products are 5cm thick and fit snugly under your bottom sheet. Either one will avoid the need for you to purchase a new mattress!
