Hundreds of tiny cores have been created in the Naturelle pillow to allow air to flow for a more hygienic sleep environment. These cores, averaging half a centimetre wide, also enhance the pillow's luxurious 'feel' as well as providing even pressure dispersion.

Pure and Natural Latex Pillow from the Rubber tree

The Naturelle pillow is produced from pure natural latex - harvested by tapping the milk (sap) of the small tropical tree Heavea Braziliensis.

No Chemicals are needed to stabilise the rubber, and the intrinsic colour is also retained.
Latex is bio-degradable, naturally!

Pillow: Moulded natural latex rubber.
Any surface imperfections are air traps from the moulding process and do not affect the pillow's performance.
Pillow Cover Inner: 100% cotton jersey.
Pillow Cover Outer: 70%cotton / 30% polyester.

 

Care

Pillow Care: Washing not reccomended. Dab clean only, warm water (max 40c) mild detergent.
Squeeze out moisture by pressing between towels.
Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry.
Do not scrunch, stretch or twist pillow when cleaning.
Dry flat in airy location, avoiding direct sunlight and heat.
Pillow Cover Inner: Dab clean only, Do not machine wash. Do not tumble dry.

Foam Discoloration & Air Traps

Please Note: It is also important to keep in mind that by it's nature, latex can have various cosmetic imperfections, variance in colour or discolouration and/or small tears, none of which will affect its performance, quality or durability in any way.

You may observe that there are small bubbles or half-moon or elongated indentations within the surface area of your latex product. These are called 'Air Traps'.

This is quite normal and are simply a by-product of the moulding and curing process of this natural product.
It occurs in all latex products, whether it be in mattress overlays, mattresses, pillows, or pressure care cushions.

These visual imperfections are integral to the production of natural latex, and in no way affect the performance or longevity of this product.
It is normal and is not a factory defect and does not constitute grounds for return.

Q. What is latex?

A. It is the milk (sap) from the small tropical tree Heavea Braziliensis found in Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
It is harvested by tapping this tree, and is a sustainable and renewable resource. No chemicals are needed to stabilise the rubber, and the intrinsic color is also retained.

Q. Do you have different sizes for your Naturelle latex pillow?

A. We do. Two in fact. Low profile and Medium profile. Naturelle Low is more for the female frame, and Medium for the male and side sleepers, and for those who generally prefer a higher pillow.

Q. Is your Naturelle latex pillow contoured?

A. Yes, the contour is quite mild in fact. One side is slightly higher than the other to best give you the option of using the side to suit your comfort and support requirements.
The contour allows your neck and head to be evenly supported, thus encouraging the natural alignment of your spine during sleep. Better posture for a more relaxed sleep!

 

Q. Why should I choose a latex pillow over a Memory foam or a traditional foam pillow?

A. It's a matter of preference. You may like the feel of Memory foam, or you may prefer the options of conventional foam with our Tranquillow range. The Naturelle latex pillow is, quite simply, a natural product and has a wonderful feel to it. It's a tough decision. We can only suggest that you search through our total pillow range and you will find your optimum pillow. You cannot miss!

 

What is the product warranty?

The Therapeutic Pillow International (TPI) WARRANTY covers manufacturing defects only. That is defects that can be definitively attributed to the manufacturing process and not those occurring after the product has been opened by the consumer.

Also, once product has been used, Government health regulations prohibit return and/or refunds.

 

Is there a guarantee of pillow comfort, support and longevity?

TPI does not provide GUARANTEES about product comfort, support, or longevity. Our company will discuss individual queries with consumers, and if there is seen to be a legitimate case we will work together to provide customer satisfaction. This may result in a recommendation and sale of a more appropriate type of pillow which may be offered at a lower-than-retail price plus freight. There are no definitive guarantees.

 

How long does is take to become adjusted to sleeping on an contoured pillow?

First night. In some cases, however, the sleeper has gotten used to sleeping in an incorrect position for so long that the correct position may feel a bit strange at first. This should correct itself within a week or two, allowing your body to rest properly.

 

Where does the latex come from in my Naturelle latex pillow?

It is sourced from the rubber trees of Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.
