Dura-fab or Steri-Plus cover options

Most products in the Thera-med range offer cover options of the soft and durable fabric Dura-Fab, or moisture and bacteria-resistant Steri-Plus, and some products are available in cotton quilting.

Dura-Fab is in attractive woven & washable polyester, while Steri-Plus has a special polyurethane ply (film) bonded to woven polyester fabric.

Which cover option is best?

Dura-fab

Dura-fab is a super-soft easy-clean washable fabric that comes in a pleasant darkish grey colour that blends nicely with any decor. Dura-fab is an serviceable material that repels most soiling. For those who do not need a moisture resistant material. Hand wash, hang dry, or dry cleanable.

Steri-plus

Steri-plus is a polyurethane ply bonded to a knitted polyester backing. It resists moisture, and is easily cleaned by wiping down with mild detergent warm water, and hung to dry. It is an extremely sturdy material that withstands body loads. It is in a clinical yet attractive mid green colour.
